‘Ghoomer’ also stars Saiyami Kher who is a cricketer but later loses her arm in an accident. Abhishek’s character then turns coach to her as he motivates her to ace her game just with her left hand. The film is set to release on August 18. ETimes got into a conversation with Abhishek, Saiyami and R Balki. After they spoke all about their movie, we had a fun rapid fire with them.
When asked Abhishek about the one co-star he would love to take selfies with, always, he laughed and said, “My wife.” He further added, “I think she takes the best ones, at least then you know she’ll make you look good.”Saiyami was then asked about the food item which Abhishek and Balki hate and she said, “They both don’t like fruits. They’ve not eaten since they were kids and I only eat fruits so they used to give me a separate table.” Balki further added, “We’re allergic to fruits.” Abhishek put up a poker face and said, “They’re bad for you. Balki and I will outlive everyone in this room, because we don’t eat fruits.”
Balki and Abhishek pulled Saiyami’s leg and said they don’t like anything that she eats. It’s terrible. Abhishek said, “Just now we were having lunch. And I was having paneer makhani, dal tadka, roti with ghee, papad and Saiyami was having grilled chicken.”
In this rapid fire, Abhishek also revealed that he plays a prank on his co-stars wherein he sneaks into their phone and sends text messages to their girlfriends and boyfriends. Saiyami added to that and said, “He does that even with the assistant directors on the film.”
