Darsheel Safary opens up on working with Ratna Pathak Shah, reveals the experience was ‘phenomenal’

Actor Darsheel Safary made a mark for himself when he held his own in Aamir Khan’s Taare Zameen Par as eight-year-old Ishaan Awasthi. However, post that, he seemed to have taken a break from the movies. Few years down the line, the actor was spotted in few web shows and comedy sketches online, but now, the all grown up actor will be seen in a Gujarati film called Kutch Express where he got a chance to share screen space with Ratna Pathak Shah.
In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, talking about his experience of working with her, Darsheel stated that it was ‘phenomenal’, as her experience is twice his age. He also stated that in the beginning, everyone was intimidated by her, but once you understood her, it was a pleasure to work with her. He also added that he received his share of scolding from the veteran actress, but that was a learning experience for him. She taught him to get his dialogues sorted and then worry about other things.
Darsheel revealed he wants to work with her in more projects as he wants to prove how much he’s learned from her. Apart from this movie, Darsheel has three other projects in hand. One is a murder mystery, where we will get to see him in a slightly darker space, another one is based on belief, faith and cricket and the third one is a biopic on social activist Jyotirao Phule with Pratik Gandhi.
