As per a report in Pinkvilla, Farhan Akhtar is set to announce ‘Don 3‘ with Ranveer in the lead. Ranveer has also shot an announcement video for it which is set to be unveiled within 2-3 days.
This teaser will be attached to ‘Gadar 2’ which is set to release on August 11. The report suggested that the entire team is quite excited to announce Ranveer as the new Don and he will be spotted in a very cool, new avatar in the teaser. This same video will be attached to Ranveer’s RARKPK as well and also Akshay Kumar’s ‘OMG 2’.
It was reported a while ago, that Shah Rukh Khan is stepped out of ‘Don 3’ as he’s not too convinced with the script and is very careful about his choices now. Hence, Ranveer has been brought on board and he has huge shoes to fill – of course with Amitabh Bachchan being the original Don! ‘Don’ and ‘Don 2’ starred Priyanka Chopra alongside SRK and the details on the female lead in the third installment aren’t yet known. The first two installments were directed by Farhan who will also be helming the third part.
Ranveer is expected to begin shooting for ‘Don 3’ after wrapping up Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Baiju Bawra’ with Alia Bhatt. Meanwhile, ‘Don 3’ is expected to be a big release in 2025!
