Meanwhile, DMK leader I Paranthamen also welcomed the restoration of Lok Sabha membership of Rahul Gandhi and termed the Supreme Court’s judgment in the case remarkable. While exuding confidence over reinstating Rahul Gandhi as Lok Sabha member he said it’s a good sign for the INDIA team and INDIA will win. Lok Sabha Secretariat today restored the membership of Rahul Gandhi after the Supreme Court on August 4 stayed his conviction in the ‘Modi’ surname remark case. The Congress leader who was disqualified from the Lower House in March 2023 was reinstated as the Wayanad MP.
