Uttar Pradesh Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna spoke on the protest which was staged by the Samajwadi Party on August 07. He urged that the Opposition should discuss the matter in the House and the Opposition leaders should allow the House to function in a civilised manner “Yesterday, in the meeting of the party leaders, our government and all the opposition parties had a discussion, we urged everyone to allow the House to function well and the House is a forum for discussion, and every kind of solution can be found only through discussion, The Chief Minister had also expected the same from all the parties, so I understand that the house is not meant for ruckus and the government is ready in every way” said the Finance Minister. Samajwadi Party (SP) MLAs protested against the state government on August 07, outside the state assembly in Lucknow ahead of the commencement of the Assembly Session. The party alleged that the Uttar Pradesh government is targeting middle-class businessmen and misusing the GST implementations on them and claimed that the Centre is misusing national agencies like CBI, ED and Income Tax.
