No-confidence motion: We protected Mamata Banerjee from Left Front MPs during UPA-I, says Kiren Rijiju

Union minister Kiren Rijiju told the Lok Sabha that during UPA-I, when the Left Front won its highest number of seats and Mamata Banerjee was the lone TMC MP, she had to face opposition from Left MPs while speaking in the House. Rijiju said that when Left MPs physically prevented Mamata Banerjee from speaking, BJP MPs came to her rescue and formed a wall around her to protect her from Left MPs.
