India filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri, the director of film ‘The Kashmir Files, appealed to the Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud to take suo moto action against the decades-old genocide of the Hindus of Jammu and Kashmir. “The film ‘The Kashmir Files’ made people aware. Government took cognizance of that. Yasin Malik is jailed due to the impact of that film. But the Supreme Court says there isn’t enough evidence to the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus. I humbly appeal the CJI to take suo moto action against the decades-old genocide of the Hindus of Jammu and Kashmir. CJI can watch my new web series for the evidence. We have recorded the testimonials of the victims of the genocide,” he said while speaking to ANI on August 08.
